The VELP AREC is a ceramic-top hot plate magnetic stirrer built for laboratories where the plate takes real abuse. The ceramic surface spreads heat evenly, cleans easily and resists acids, bases and solvents, and it will run from room temperature up to 550 C. A brushless motor stirs from 100 to 1500 rpm with VELP's SpeedServo torque compensation, and an illuminated hot-top warning stays lit above 50 C so nobody touches a plate that looks cold.
