A torque tester for closure quality control on bottles, jars and other screw-top packaging. It measures the torque actually needed to open or close a cap, so under-tightened leakers and over-tightened caps the customer cannot open are caught during sampling instead of after delivery. The 10 Nm range with 0,002 Nm readout, a peak function and programmable limits makes it a pass/fail station an operator can run without training in metrology.
